WHAT'S HAPPENING IN sUNDAY SCHOOL?

At Second Baptist Church we have classes for all ages!

NURSERY

Our Sunday School program begins with our nursery. We cherish our youngest members and guests, and strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to interact with one another and learn about our Lord through song and play. Our nursery is available during Sunday school and our morning worship service.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Get connected by joining us for Sunday school. Our Sunday school program runs from September through May and begins at 9:30 AM. All classes are located downstairs.

JUNIOR CHURCH

Junior church is open to kids in grades k-4 and takes place during the sermon time. If you are a member of the Second Baptist Church and would love to volunteer for Junior Church please let Mary or Gloria know.

ANNUAL EVENTS

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Kick off our Sunday school year with us at Vacation Bible School (VBS). During our weekend VBS, children in preschool through grade 5 come to learn more about Jesus in a super fun way. Everything that is done is based around one theme. We have games, snacks, lessons, music, crafts, and more! The kids always have a terrific time and so do the adults!

HARVEST PARTY

Each year in October we host a harvest party for the kids in our community. Children are invited to dress in non-scary costume. The night consists of games, food and fun.
